   Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Actually, I’m doing this blogging for my educational technologies lesson. That’s why my blog will be about the topics we learn in the lesson.    Hello everyone! It's time to say goodbye to you👋. This is indeed my final post, unlike the one I published last year . Unfortunately, we will no longer have a course that will require us to use our blog anymore. This course, I believe, is a highly valuable course that every teacher should take since it educates future instructors, such as ourselves, on how to successfully integrate and use technology in the classroom. Since all students are digital natives, it can be said that the existence of such a course should be a must.  One of the greatest benefits of this course is that it enables students to comprehend the knowledge they have gained via the use of technology and to conduct their own learning processes. CREATING A RESEARCH-BASED PROJECT

 Hello everyone! This post will be about creating a research-based project that our lecturer gave us as a task.  For this project,  Buse  and I worked together. That's why I’m going to talk about my experiences while doing this. Our instructor asked us to utilize the Progress, Preparatory Class coursebook to pick one of the projects and transform it into a research-based project while working on this task. Therefore, in the third unit on page 65, we picked a project about movies. We had two tool alternatives for creating this project, and we chose the Webquest (click on the site to find out what it is ) tool. Then, we decided to use Questgarden while doing this Webquest. In this project, our main goal was for students to create a digital movie poster. AR INTEGRATED TEACHING MATERIALS

 Hello everyone!  This post will be about creating AR (Augmented Reality) integrated teaching materials that our lecturer gave us as a task. For this project,  Buse  and I worked together. That's why I’m going to talk about my experiences while doing this. Let's start with the definition of AR, which I have heard for the first time. Augmented Reality is a technology that allows users to see videos, pictures, and 3d objects and animations in a 3D environment based on real-world materials. Also, AR can be accessed by QR codes, trigger pictures, markerless AR apps, and GPS location. For instance, in the video below, you'll see Adidas added the feature to its iOS app, helping shoppers to decide on a purchase without ever entering a store. FLIPPED GRAMMAR TEACHING VIDEO

 Hello everyone!  This post will be about creating a grammar teaching video for a flipped EFL classroom that our lecturer gave us as a task. For this task,  Buse  and I worked together. That's why I’m going to talk about my experiences while doing this. A flipped classroom is an educational approach that tries to improve student engagement and learning by having students complete readings at their homes and concentrate on interactive problem-solving throughout class hours. Students can select when, how, and where they want to examine instructional materials prior to lessons in a flipped classroom; accountability moves from teachers to students, creating a student-centered educational process. As we can see, the flipped classroom has a lot of advantages. CREATING CORPUS-BASED TEACHING MATERIAL

 Hello everyone! This post will be about creating corpus-based teaching material that our lecturer gave us as a task. For this task,  Buse  and I worked together. That's why I’m going to talk about my experiences while doing this. In the lesson, we learned that language learners need access to as much authentic linguistic data as possible and this can be done by utilizing a data-driven learning approach. The reason for this is that in DDL, the language is seen as data and the learner is seen as a language researcher. Therefore, the use of corpus (a corpus is a pile of written texts and usually focuses on both grammar and vocabulary) linguistics in language learning contributes to the autonomy of students in this method.  In the corpus-based material that we have prepared, we tried to teach the issue of it's vs its, which is often confused by students, by drawing attention to the difference between them.Therefore, we have prepared four activities. CREATING A DIGITAL TIMELINE

 Hello everyone! This post will be about creating a digital timeline. Therefore, I’m going to talk about my experiences while doing this. We were supposed to produce a timeline based on the history of technology in language learning. I didn't have any problem doing my task since our instructor explained in the lesson how today's technology developed from the past to the present, as well as what technical breakthroughs occurred during that period, respectively. To produce a timeline I used Piktochart . Because I utilized it in my infographic design project, which is detailed in a few posts below, I was pleased with the results.  When we compare the technical tools used in the 1960s to those utilized in the 2000s, we can see how quickly technology evolves. I AM BACK !

 Hello everyone! I hope you are all fine. It's been a year since I've written anything, but don't worry, I'm back. I just realized how much I miss this place when I'm writing this right now. Anyway, this year I will be using my blog for Material Design in ELT lesson. I'll keep doing activities like the educational technologies course I've already taken and share my experiences with you.
