Actually, I had little idea about technology integration in teaching English before taking this course. I thought we would try to make the lesson fun by just making different slides for language learners in this course. Fortunately, we did nothing as I thought, instead we did a variety of student-centered tasks. Thanks to this course, I learned how to integrate technology with the lesson and how to use it later. Most importantly, in this course, our instructor set us free and wanted us to discover the tools ourselves. So we were all responsible for our own learning. In this way, everyone learned the applications from their own experiences. Later in the lesson, reviewing my friends' tasks and learning the different applications they used made it easier for me to understand the integration of the course with technology. Among the various tasks I have completed, my favorite was creating the front cover of a music magazine and the vox pop podcast I did with my family. I loved designing a magazine cover so much that I wanted to do it professionally in the future. Padlet was my least favorite task. Because I had to read a few academic articles and examine scientific research because of the subject we chose. Also, I didn't like not being very creative while doing this group work.
In conclusion, it would improve the course to learn how to follow a path for students who do not have the opportunity to use technological tools in this course. Because I thought about how to integrate technology for our students who do not always have the opportunity in class, but I could not find an answer.
Goodbye, everybody. Take care of yourselves!
